The Future is Now: Our youth are leading

Over the past few weeks, we have seen young people leading marches and vigils for George Floyd and Black Lives Matter across our district. This often prompts people to talk about the brightness of the future. While I agree, we must also admit that the future is now. Youth are leading on gun responsibility, climate change and fighting racism with enthusiasm and success. This is why it makes the endorsement of the King County Young Democrats endorsement all the more meaningful to me.
