AntiSemitism Has No Place in the Legislature

I was appalled to learn of the speech my Republican State Representative colleague recently gave comparing vaccination protocols to the Holocaust, while wearing a yellow Star of David. Equating public health efforts to keep our community members safe from a pandemic with the systemic extermination of the Jewish people by the Nazis (including many of my family members) trivializes the horrors of the Holocaust, is wildly irresponsible, and shows deep anti-Semitism.
